What is Multifactor Authentication?
To help keep your account even more secure, Visicover now supports Multifactor Authentication (MFA).
When you log in, if you haven’t previously authenticated, we’ll send a One Time Passcode (OTP) to your registered email address. Simply enter this code to complete your login.
You’ll also have the option to mark your current device as a ‘Trusted Device’. If you choose this option, you won’t need to go through MFA again—unless you clear your cookies or log in from a new device.
For new users:
You’ll be asked to authenticate the next time you log in after activating your account.
For existing users:
If you already had a Visicover account before MFA was introduced, you’ll have the option to authenticate when you next log in. However, authentication will become required if:
- You’ve logged in three times without authenticating,
- You haven’t authenticated within 30 days of first being offered the option, or
- You haven’t authenticated by 1st December 2026.
