Boat Insurance: What is Search, Rescue and Evacuation cover?

This option under the boat insurance policy can pay towards the cost of search and rescue operations in the event of a person being lost overboard, or evacuation costs if a person on board requires emergency evacuation.

You select what cover limit you require up to £50,000, and there is no excess for you to pay in respect of a claim under this cover.
