Vessel Loss or Damage
Covers the cost, up to the cover limit selected, for repair or replacement arising from physical loss or damage to your sailing boat, subject to certain specific exclusions and the excess you have chosen. *
Third Party Liability
Covers sums, up to the cover limit selected, which you are legally liable to pay arising from ownership of the sailing boat for death or injury to a third party, or damage to their property, subject to certain specific exclusions. *
Marina Benefits
Protects your no claims discount entitlement, and avoids you having to pay an excess, if you make a claim for loss or damage to your sailing boat sustained while it is moored / stored in a specified marina. *
Mooring Fees
Covers the cost, up to the cover limit selected, of mooring fees incurred while you are unable to use the sailing boat as the result of either a serious accidental injury to yourself, or insured loss or damage to your sailing boat, subject to certain specific exclusions. *
Emergency Accommodation

Covers the cost, up to the cover limit selected, of getting you and your passengers home if your sailing boat is no longer seaworthy due to loss or damage covered by this policy, or serious injury to a key crew member, subject to certain specific exclusions. *
Emergency Breakdown
Covers call out, parts and labour costs, up to the cover limit selected, if your sailing boat is no longer seaworthy as the result of a mechanical breakdown, subject to certain specific exclusions. *
War and Related Risks
Extends the protection provided by the policy to cover War, Capture, Piracy or Terrorism, subject to certain specific exclusions. *
Search, Rescue and Evacuation
Covers costs, up to the cover limit selected, for search, rescue, and evacuation operations in relation to any person on board the sailing boat with your permission. *
Tenders
Choose if you wish to specify and include cover for your sailing boat’s tenders.
Machinery Extension
This option extends the Vessel loss and damage cover to include repair or replacement to the sailing boat’s machinery following damage caused by latent defects or breakage of shafts, subject to certain specific exclusions and the excess you have chosen. *
Replacement Locks and Keys
Covers the cost, up to the cover limit selected, of replacing locks and keys following the theft or loss of keys to the sailing boat’s external doors, subject to certain specific exclusions. *
Courtesy Vessel
Covers the cost, up to the cover limit selected, of hiring a replacement vessel if your sailing boat is made unseaworthy as the result of loss or damage covered by this policy, subject to certain specific exclusions. *
NCD Protection
Protects your no claims discount entitlement in the event that you make no more than one claim under the policy in a year. *
Personal Accident
Pays a selected financial benefit to any person who dies, disappears or sustains a serious injury while they are embarking, on board or disembarking the sailing boat with your permission, subject to certain specific exclusions and a maximum number of persons which you select. *
Medical Expenses
Covers costs, up to the cover limit selected, arising from the attendance of a qualified Medical Practitioner as a direct result of an accidental injury sustained on the sailing boat, subject to certain specific exclusions and the excess you have chosen. *
Market or Agreed Value
Depending on your boat’s value, choose between receiving the agreed value of the sailing boat in the event of a total loss, or the market value of the sailing boat at the time of the loss. *
Personal Belongings
Covers costs, up to the cover limit selected, for repair or replacement to your or your immediate family’s personal belongings which are lost or damaged on the sailing boat, or in transit to and from the sailing boat, subject to certain specific exclusions and the excess you have chosen. *
