Mooring Fees

War and Related Risks
Extends the protection provided by the policy to cover War, Capture, Piracy or Terrorism, subject to certain specific exclusions. *
Search, Rescue and Evacuation
Covers costs, up to the cover limit selected, for search, rescue, and evacuation operations in relation to any person on board the boat with your permission. *
Medical Expenses
Covers costs, up to the cover limit selected, arising from the attendance of a qualified Medical Practitioner as a direct result of an accidental injury sustained on the boat, subject to certain specific exclusions and the excess you have chosen. *
Personal Accident
Pays a selected financial benefit to any person who dies, disappears or sustains a serious injury while they are embarking, on board or disembarking the boat with your permission, subject to certain specific exclusions and a maximum number of persons which you select. *
Machinery Extension
This option extends the Vessel loss and damage cover to include repair or replacement to the boat’s machinery following damage caused by latent defects or breakage of shafts, subject to certain specific exclusions and the excess you have chosen. *
Replacement Locks and Keys
Covers the cost, up to the cover limit selected, of replacing locks and keys following the theft or loss of keys to the boat’s external doors, subject to certain specific exclusions. *
Courtesy Vessel
Covers the cost, up to the cover limit selected, of hiring a replacement vessel if your boat is made unseaworthy as the result of loss or damage covered by this policy, subject to certain specific exclusions. *
Emergency Travel
Covers the cost, up to the cover limit selected, of getting you and your passengers home if your boat is no longer seaworthy due to loss or damage covered by this policy, or serious injury to a key crew member, subject to certain specific exclusions. *
Trailers and Trolleys
Covers costs, up to the cover limit selected, for repair or replacement to your boat trailer or trolley for loss or damage arising from fire, theft, collision, or accident in use, subject to certain specific exclusions and the excess you have chosen. *
NCD Protection
Protects your no claims discount entitlement in the event that you make no more than one claim under the policy in a year. *
Personal Belongings
Covers costs, up to the cover limit selected, for repair or replacement to your or your immediate family’s personal belongings which are lost or damaged on the boat, or in transit to and from the boat, subject to certain specific exclusions and the excess you have chosen. *
Houseboat Contents and Related Options
Offers a range of options for narrowboat / motor barge owners where the boat is their primary residence, such as cover for household contents, cover for possessions taken away from the boat or kept in student accommodation, alternative accommodation costs and public liability. Race Fee Cover
Covers the cost, up to the cover limit selected, for lost entry fees for any races you have booked but are unable to participate in due to insured loss or damage to the boat. *
